A Refrig Love Story

Judy, Nancy and YunPing, our Prayer Warriors  禱告三勇士!

「這家就是神的教會，真理的柱石和根基。」

(提前3:15)

今年二月五日週四的禱告會，走進禱告室不見一人，卻聽見哐當碰撞聲，嘩啦流水聲加上嘻嘻哈哈的笑聲。 只見Nancy, YunPing, Judy三位禱告勇士捲起袖子，手拿著抹布，水桶忙著清理教會冰箱。 Nancy說教會冰箱很久沒人清理又髒又臭, 慘不忍睹。 聖靈催逼她，就決定用禱告會的時間清理。YunPing 和Judy姐妹一聽馬上加入。 那晚的禱告會後, 教會冰箱恢復乾淨整潔。

八月九日同工會中廚房總管Maggie告知冰箱已經不能冷藏冷凍，發出異味。 需要換新，看看教會可不可以買新的，或有沒有人可以捐贈。 八月十六日開始在週報刊登教會需要.

八月二十三日Jean姐妹告知看到學生群裡有人要賣冰箱，問教會要不要。 雖然沒買成但非常謝謝她的關心！
 

九月三日Irvine辦公室打電話問有人要捐冰箱給教會，我們要不要. – 當然要啦！ 和Troy弟兄聯絡上，他有多一個冰箱去年買的，現放車庫, 願意捐給教會！實在太感謝了。

九月五日拉文市中英牧師兩人組, 開著老爺廂型車，拿著小推車去Irvine  Troy 弟兄家搬冰箱到La Verne。 再把La Verne 舊冰箱搬回家，給電力公司來回收。 還可以用電力公司的退款50元 謝謝Troy, 求主紀念他的愛心，大大祝福他！

您看到了嗎？ 看到弟兄姐妹愛教會，看到Irvine/La Verne 肢體相愛，看到 神 顧念 神家的需要，
看到神  愛教會！ 下次您看到La Verne的冰箱時, 心中會唱起
       “我看見 神的愛，在La Verne的冰箱…. ”   記得 神的愛！

請大家保持冰箱清潔，好好愛護 這見證 神愛的冰箱。

2/5/2015 Thursday prayer meeting,  as I walking to to the prayer room, there is nobody there!  Yet, I heard the noise of stuff clicking, faucet water running and joyous laughters  coming from other side.   Sister Nancy, after knowing the refrig is very smelly and filthy, driven by Holy Spirit, rolled up her sleeves, brought her mops and bucket, responded to God that she will use this prayer meeting time to clean the refrig.   Sister Judy and YunPing, our other prayer warriors, joined her instantly in the refrig cleaning mission.  By the prayer meeting end time that day, the refrig is clean and shine.      

8/9/2015, sister Maggie, our kitchen chief, notified all in the co-worker meeting that the refrig has lost

its freeze and cooling function.  This is a 2^nd hand refrig, donated more than 10 years ago.   Refrig has bad smell because there is left over kept for long time.  No one bother to remove them.    Motion if church has budget to buy a new one, or if anyone is willing to donate one.

8/23/2015, sister Jean told me that she found a refrig on sale, it’s a good deal if church is interested  buying. Though we did not end up buying the refrig.  Her kind thoughts for church need is much appreciated.

9/3/2015, Irvine office called about someone is donating a refrig to church, if La Verne is still interested.

Yes! Of course, we responded.    Brother Troy has an extra refrig  in garage to donate.    He bought it last year. Thank you brother Troy!!  We are so grateful.

9/5/2015, pastor John and pastor Daniel, driving the old old Previa van, with a small dolly, picked up the refrig from Irvine, placed it in La Verne and brought the old refrig back for SCE to recycle.   There will be $50 rebate returning the old refrig, which we will give it to bother Troy as a token of our appreciation.   May God bless his loving and generous heart!

As the story flows, do you see? Do you see God’s love through sisters’ care and love for church properties?  Do you see God’s love through brother’s love across campus?  Do you see God’s love through His provision and care for His church. Do you see?

Let’s keep that love in our heart, take care of church properties, keep the refrig clean.   Take care of this refrig, which testifying God’s love.
